MENTOR

As a dedicated mentor and coach, Denise takes every opportunity to share her life experiences and lessons learned to to help Active, Guard, and Reserve military personnel; to advocate on veteran’s and military family issues; and to serve leaders from all walks of life by sharing the authentic, real-life stories of what it takes to be a superior leader.

Since 2015, Denise has served as a Board of Trustee for United Through Reading— currently as the board secretary, a member of the marketing committee, as well as a past member of the strategic growth committee. She also served a three-year term as a Board of Trustee for the Military Education Coalition, where she served as a member on the finance and nomination committees. 

Denise is also a volunteer with the Colorado Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and served as the Director of Air National Guard membership for the National Guard Association of Colorado. She continues to do community outreach in the greater Colorado Springs area.

Denise proudly serves as a Military Advisor with Veterans United Home Loans, where she advocates for and educates veterans on the use of their VA home loan benefits.
